A Ready For Anything® building block
A wireless E-Ink display tablet that shows whatever your BMS or LoRaWAN network needs to communicate — room status, sensor readings, schedules, or alerts — battery powered, no wiring required.
E-Ink display · LoRaWAN Class A · Battery powered · EU868 / US915 · Mountable anywhere
The problem this product exists to solve
Engineers spend time commissioning sensors and getting data into the BMS. Making that data visible to the people in the building — without running cables to a screen, without installing a tablet on mains power, without a separate display system — is usually an afterthought. The MEMO solves that.
It is a battery-powered E-Ink tablet that receives LoRaWAN downlinks and updates its display accordingly. Mount it on a wall, a door, a piece of plant equipment — anywhere you need a visible readout without a power outlet. The display retains its content when the battery is flat.
Why the MEMO is Ready For Anything®
🟢 Ready for Today
- E-Ink display — readable in any lighting condition — no backlight required; visible in direct sunlight and in dim plant rooms
- Wireless content update via LoRaWAN downlink — push new content from your network server without physically accessing the device
- Battery powered — no mains connection, no cable run; mount wherever the information needs to be visible
- Display retains content without power — if the battery drains, the last displayed content stays on screen
🔵 Ready for Change
- Flexible mounting — wall mount, door mount, or freestanding; reposition without damage to the surface
- Content defined by your network server — adapt it as the use case changes without hardware replacement
🔗 Ready for Integrations
- LoRaWAN Class A — EU868, US915 — joins any standard LoRaWAN network; pairs with TEKTELIC KONA gateways
- Downlink-driven content — your BMS or LNS pushes content updates; integrate with room booking systems, sensor dashboards, or manual dispatch workflows
A few things worth knowing before you deploy
- Fully customisable display content — text, values, labels, and layout are defined by your network server via LoRaWAN downlink; the MEMO has no fixed template; what it shows is entirely determined by how you configure the payload
- Up to 1 year battery life — no mains connection required; mount in locations where running a cable is not practical, including listed buildings and tenant spaces
- Display retains content without power — E-Ink is bistable; if the battery drains completely, the last image stays visible on screen; the display does not go blank or show an error
- Use cases beyond room labels — safety notices, energy dashboards, maintenance schedules, sensor readouts, queue management; anything you can send as a downlink payload can appear on the display without additional hardware
